Earlier in the summer, back when it wasn't EIGHT THOUSAND DEGREES OUTSIDE, we took the kids on a hike to Latourell Falls. This set of falls is all part of the Columbia River Gorge which is just 30+ minutes east of the city.
The waterfall was great (not the best we've seen this year, but still nice).
Little Suz liked it, of course. Or maybe it's just the attention she likes.
The trail then continued on past the waterfall, where there were exciting things to discover like hallowed out trees for Zig to hide in.
