Best parts of the Pacific Northwest are the mild winters and early springs. I've seen a bush in our backyard budding for a few weeks now. And just today I noticed a few flowers randomly sprouting up in the yard.
Fortunately, it's been a sunnier winter this year compared to years in the past. I now have four winters (!) to compare to, and I've been super-glad it's not been a rainy rainy rainy rainy rainy gray gray gray gray dull dull cold winter as we had last year.
