Just when the rest of the planet is winding the school year down, we're gearing up for the next.
That's just what's so great about home schooling. Yet another way to be Weird.
So. Campers graduated from kindergarten in early April and we gave him a month off to recuperate from the stress, the competition, and ooooooh--the long hours of work.
Or, maybe Ma needed a break.
But school is back in session, with Ziggy in preschool and Campers in first grade. (First grade!)
Here's the Zig, happy to be doing his very own workbook:
Maybe not so thrilled to have his big brother overseeing ("go here!" "go there!" "write this!" "write that!") the whole production, but happy nonetheless. I'm sure it has something to do with the Batman shirt, giving him strength and power to conquer the challenge that is "preschool."
Meanwhile, Sister Susie enjoys her own form of education--always teaching herself new ways to bring chaos out of order.
It's your happy and hokey home schooling family.
