Thanks to the smarts of our neighbors, Sister Susie can now sign the word for "more."

So now, instead of squawking for more food, she can squawk AND sign. And she's just so proud of her new ability to talk with her hands. Because no story is a good story unless there is a LOT of hand waving going on.
And since she's done such a fabulous job with one word, we've been working on some more. If you aren't familiar with the Signing Time show (which is on DVD as well as on PBS in some areas), I highly recommend it! Good music, good learning. We just finished watching Baby Signing Time Volume 1 (borrowed from the library, of course) and will hopefully add words like "eat" and "drink" to the list.
Because when it comes right down to it, life is all about eating and drinking, more more more.
